4th Vaga Lume Congress – October 14th-21st 2009, Santarem (PA)

The 4th Vaga Lume Congress took place in October 14th-21st in Santarém-PA, and also , for the first time, gathered a young audience, emphasizing the importance of involving youth in the actions of  the Vaga Lume libraries. The 4th Congress had the support of the local team of Santarem, who took part in the organization and production of the event.

3rd  Vaga Lume Congress - July 9th to 15th 2008, Atibaia (SP)

The 3rd Vaga Lume Congress aimed to train and strengthen the network of Vaga Lume multipliers. On the occasion, the multipliers from 11 states of Brazil participated in planning workshops, resource mobilization and management of libraries.

The conference partcipants also joined the International Meeting on Literature and Cultural Action, a partnership between A Cor da Letra, SESC-SP and Vaga Lume, to bring to the public of SESC Pinheiros an overview of discussions and reports on experiments that use literature as a tool for social transformation.
